"PLEASE
STAY INADEQUATE.."

PRAYER, I TOLD GOD I WAS FEELING
INADEQUATE. HE SAID,
'PLEASE STAY INADEQUATE.'
God
Said, "YOU'RE MORE EFFECTIVE WHEN YOU FEEL INADEQUATE"
"When
a crisis comes, you feel inadequate, but you serve Me more
effectively when you are 'weak.'
No one in the early church labored more
diligently for Me than Paul (1 Corinthians 15:10). But, for all
he
accomplished for Me, no one felt as inadequate as he did (1 Corinthians
2:3). When he said he could do all things through Christ who strengthened
him (Philippians 4:13) he wasn't saying he had the freedom (and
ability) to
do whatever he wanted, but that if it was My will (the mind of
Christ is
always My will) then it would be successful. Are you effective
against the
demons in your own power? Are you more convincing with your own
eloquence
and smooth delivery? Recall that an excellent Spirit was found
in My
servant Daniel (Daniel 5:12; 6:3). Why? Was it because he was
trained in
all of the knowledge, science and languages of the day (Daniel
1: 4)? No.
Although he did not resist these things, he also did not rely
upon them.
Neither did My servant Paul (Philippians 3:3-8). Instead, both
knew that all
of the worldly instruction combined together is nothing compared
to the
importance of positioning ones self to move in the Excellency
of My Spirit
(Daniel 5:11-12). Feeling inadequate doesn't mean you don't have
faith in
Me.it means you don't put your faith in yourself, which is a good
thing
(Matthew 16:24). This is not a 'poor me' life style, but one that
recognizes
that you (in and of yourself) can do nothing. Stay inadequate
within and you
will stay effective for Me without."
God
Said, "INADEQUACY IN THIS WORLD MAKES YOU ADEQUATE
IN MINE"
"I
do not want self made men. I want Spirit led men (Romans 8:14).
This present world is more enticing than most of My children
realize (1 John
2:15-16). I am bringing many to the place of whole heartedly leaning
on My
Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16) and discarding all confidence
on worldly
techniques. Yes, know the world you live in (Eccl. 8:5b), but
don't let the
world live in you. I would even desire you to walk in My folly
instead of
the world's greatest wisdom; remember that My foolishness is far
greater
than all of man's wisdom (1 Corinthians 1: 25-28). Do not misunderstand.
I
have placed some of My wisest, most discerning servants in the
business
arena, but some forget they are there primarily to do My business,
not
theirs. They are called to influence, not be influenced. I am
not saying
all of the 'Success Seminars' are to be completely shunned, but
I do not
want any of My servants to be deceived by the alluring power of
the soul and
the mind instead of being led by My Spirit (Zechariah 4:6) which
is more
powerful than both of them. I am saying this: Glean, but do not
lean.
Some feel like they are barely holding on in their walk with Me
and fear the
victory is slipping through their hands. Today, I urge you: Let
it slip
through your hands, and grasp My hand (Numbers 11:23). Stop striving
and
rest (Matthew 11: 28-30). I do not want to make you feel adequate.
You are
not in your own strength. That is My job. I will be your adequacy.
My
kingdom is only understood through dependency on My Holy Spirit.
The carnal
world is a life dependent on the power of 'self' instead of My
Holy Spirit."
God
Said, "OVERWHELMED AGAIN? YOU BE INADEQUATE.I'LL
BE STRONG"
"Often,
that is the only time I can move on your behalf. When the wagons
are circling and your enemies are about to go in for
the kill, don't be
tempted to try and rescue yourself; that is when My deliverance
is at the
door. Your power and security isn't in yourself, but in Me (Philippians
4:13). Some of you have prayed for children and grand-children
to be saved.
You see how the enemy seemingly has them in his grasp. You feel
helpless.
Start seeing them walking with Me and going to church. I am doing
more than
you know (Eph. 3:20). Your prayers are accomplishing much even
now. Start
thanking Me by faith for the work I am doing in them now (Acts
16:31). Stay
humble (1 Peter 5: 5-6). I resist 'know it all's.' When 'know
it all's'
get surrounded by circumstances they can only count on all they
know. But,
those who have come to the end of themselves (knowing in their
own power)
they are inadequate to change anyone (even themselves) they will
be in a
position for Me to show Myself strong. Do not misunderstand; I
do not want
'door mat people' who are insecure, feeble and made of spiritual
mush. But,
I promise you; the moment you cease counting on all of your own
strengths,
talents, accomplishments, education, training and charisma, I
will give you
Mine. I accomplished great things with weak instruments; a rod
(Ex. 4:2), a
jaw bone (Judges 15:15), a mustard seed (Matthew 13:32) and five
barley
loaves to feed thousands (John 6:9). I want to use weak, small,
insufficient
instruments so no flesh can glory in My presence (1 Corinthians
1:29).
Feeling inadequate?.looks like it's going to be a very good day."
