(A Biblical Perspective by Al Thomas)

I was looking for a certain street on a map of my community, when I saw a vision of heaven. The Father was holding a huge bag with golden embroidery on it that said “Answers to Prayers.” It was bursting at the seams. He poured out the bag’s contents on the earth.   Coming out of the bag, tumbling over the globe were thousands of street signs! 
 
Suddenly, multitudes of angels appeared and each one grabbed a sign and rushed towards the earth. As they sped off I heard the Father say, “I am going to change the name of the streets where some now live.” I saw God open a map he was carrying and He showed me the names of some streets where the saved and unsaved lived. Immediately, in the spirit, I was in the neighborhood he showed me on the map.  I saw a street sign that said, Discouragement Way. It was a dark neighborhood without lights. An angel tore down the sign and replaced it with a glowing sign that said Joy Blvd. He showed me another neighborhood and I saw Fear Street. The sign changed and it now read Boldness Blvd. One by one earthly signs were replaced with heavenly ones. Disease Drive tuned into Healthy Highway. Where there used to be Infirmity Avenue, now stood Healing Avenue. No longer was there a Bondage Court, but a Freedom Lane. Discord Street was turned into Unity Avenue. Procrastination Place was turned into Fruitful Avenue. Weakness Way turned into Power Place. Poverty Place turned into Prosperity Place. Doubt Drive turned into Believing Drive.  Unbelief Street turned into Faith Blvd. The vision speeded up. Anxiety Street turned into Peace Street. Indifference Drive turned into Compassion Blvd. Impure Lane turned into Holiness Highway. The darkest sign was Death Drive; it was strongly bolded to its pole. An angel ripped it off with one finger and replaced it with Life Lane. Confusion Street turned into Discernment Street.  Cursed Alley turned into Blessing Blvd. False Street was replaced with Truth Street. Greed Lane turned into Giving Parkway. Darkness Drive turned into Light Lane. Famine Drive turned into Harvest Highway. Hell Avenue was in a terrible neighborhood. It was exchanged for Heaven Drive. Pride Lane was changed to Humble Street. Rejection Drive turned into Acceptance Street. Deceit Lane turned into Honest Highway. Thousands of street names where changed. On and on it went. Quickly, one by one, like a film being fast forwarded, I saw the signs changing. An angel said, “Stop looking at the signs, look at the houses.” I turned my head back and saw lights appearing on the streets and bursts of light rays coming out of the homes. People came out of their homes and danced and rejoiced.
 
One street sign, more numerous and larger than any other, stood out…Lost Lane. I saw three angels pull it down and one powerful Angel replace it with a large glowing sign, Salvation Turnpike. The angels rejoiced over this exchange more than any other.  
As the vision ended I continued to see signs falling from heaven. I was stunned and as I began to thank God, he  said, “Before I change the streets to gold, I must change their names. Tell My people to get ready for their neighborhood to change. Tell them to get ready for their neighborhood to go upscale. I am about to pour out of my Answered Prayers bag”
 
As I looked at the map I still held in my hands I couldn't remember what street I was looking for.
